These essayists attempt to answer the question, "How do we make the world a better place?" It addresses ten aspects of the world's condition including the environment, security, peace, freedom, health, and moral purpose. Essayists include George Bush and Barack Obama, Paul Prudhomme, Ted Turner, and Al Gore. For the most part, the essays tend to the general and the "progressive". Nevertheless, the volume does make for interesting reading because of the thought provoking nature of the topics discussed.
