Chicken Cordon Bleu Recipe

Ingredients:
2 chicken breasts without skin -- boned
4 slices ham
4 slices swiss cheese
4 slices cheddar cheese
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 dash pepper
1/2 tablespoon parsley
1/4 tablespoon basil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon rosemary
Cut breasts in half along the sternum. Place each piece separately into a plastic bag and then pound it flat with a hammer. Sprinkle a light layer of bread-crumbs on a flat baking pan. Lay smashed piece of chicken on top of bread crumbs place slice of ham on that then layer on the two cheeses.
Roll the result or at least fold it in half. Secure with a toothpick. spread on spices then spread on the remaining bread crumbs. Bake in oven at 375 F for about 45 minutes or until the scattered bread crumbs start to turn black - this is a good indicator that the chicken is also done.
Suggested Wine: A white one
Serving Ideas : Wild rice, or tame herb and butter rice if you can't catch the wild stuff.
NOTES : This is one that will impress the little woman.
